The Swiss Air Force doesn?t host many airshows, but when they decided that it was time to celebrate it?s 90th Anniversary, the Patrouille Suisse?s 40th Anniversary and the 15th anniversary of the PC-7 team, they opened the imaginary gates of Payerne Airfield, they did it with style. For Saturday, they even dreamed up a fly-by they called ?Patrouille des patrouilles? a impressive formation of five of the worlds leading aerobatic jet teams. It was for several people unthinkable, but when on Saturday patrouille Suisse led a formation that comprised of Patrouille de France, Patrouilla Aguilla, Team 60 and Frecce tricolori, they knew that then and there history was made.
