Meeting de L'air - Avord

The Meeting de L?Air at Avord gave the public a chance to enter one of the most guarded Military airfields in France, no wonder seeing as it houses the fleet of four French Air Force Boeing E-3F Sentry aircraft. An excellent chance this was to get a little closer to this aircraft and it?s crew. The other unit sharing the Base with the Sentry aircraft is the Ecole de L?aviation de Transport, flying the Xingu. And from 2005 this unit wil not only be responsible for training transport pilots for the French Air Force, but also for the Belgian Air Force.
